• Walks or bike rides

After a superb night in the trees, come back with your feet on the ground and enjoy the paths in the surrounding nature. The estate is located in the heart of the 3 magnificent forests of Halatte, Ermenonville and Compiègne. You may be lucky enough to see a big deer! Attention, the paths of the domain are not all open for walks for safety reasons. Do you want to hike or pedal? Find our walking routes and our bike routes.

• Domaine de Raray

A stone's throw from the huts, the Domaine de Raray reveals a remarkable heritage in the heart of nature. Its castle, a classic masterpiece of the 17th and 18th centuries, was used as the setting for the movie Beauty and the Beast by Jean Cocteau in 1946. Classified as a historical monument, it impresses with its sculpted porticos representing 38 hunting dogs, a deer and a wild boar. The castle cannot be visited and cannot be privatized.

A tennis court is available free of charge. Snowshoes for rent: 4€.

The estate is also home to a 165-hectare golf course. The La Licorne and Daguet courses offer a beautiful playing field, suitable for beginners as well as for experienced golfers.

• La Verrière restaurant

A stone's throw from the huts, the Restaurant La Verrière welcomes you in an elegant and bright setting, from Wednesday to Monday, from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. (until 7 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays) - closed on Tuesdays. The menu gives pride of place to revisited classics: sharing boards, beef tartare, fish & chips... La Verrière also offers a coworking space with wifi, ideal for working in a quiet atmosphere in a serene atmosphere.

• Massages and wellness treatments

To go even further in relaxation, Book a massage or treatment in our wellness area. Body treatments, facial treatments or duo massage: all in a soothing setting, overlooking nature.

• A comfortable cabin

If you come to Les Cabanes des Grands Chênes, it is primarily to enjoy your cocoon.

Each cabin is designed for well-being and disconnection: terrace overlooking the water, cozy bed, absolute calm... and for the most part, a heated Nordic bath, to be used at any time of the day! • Armistice wagon and museum (30 min)

Immerse yourself in the heart of history by discovering the wagon where the 1918 Armistice was signed, in the classified clearing. A powerful and moving memory site.
